Documenting Solidarity: Migrant Workers Supporting Displaced Communities in Lebanon

In response to the 2026 war in Lebanon, members of the domestic worker community, supported by the NGO Egna Legna, mobilized to provide essential meal services for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Through a series of interviews and onsite photography, this project documents the daily operations and personal stories of these women as they redirected their resources to support displaced families. I spent time in their kitchens and shared spaces, capturing the labor and lived experiences of a community providing vital aid during the war.
