Fabric of Resolve: Women Shaping Industry

This photography series, “Fabric of Resolve,” captures the inspiring story of Al Khayrat, a woman-led pickle-making company in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Al Khayrat (Lebanese for “the good deeds”) embodies a sustainable agri-food approach, working directly with local farmers cultivating cucumbers, turnips, and carrots.

Empowering Women, Strengthening Communities:

The project shines a light on the 50+ women who make up the 70-person workforce at Al Khayrat. These dedicated women play a pivotal role in the company’s success, particularly amidst Lebanon’s challenging socio-economic climate.
