What Could Have Been
Ce(ux) qui aurai(en)t pu être (o Could Have Been)
The French title “Ce(ux) qui aurai(en)t pu être” creates a wordplay, referring both to “those who could have been” and the potential of the image itself.
This series explores the idea of potential, the space between what is and what could have been. Through abstract compositions, the photographs play on the duality of absence and presence, questioning the weight of what might have existed but never came to be.
Most of the photographs in this ongoing project are untitled, inviting viewers to contemplate the open-ended possibilities within each abstract composition.
